Thermal analysis of cyclodextrins and their inclusion complexes. The thermal degradation and behavior of natural and semisynthetic cyclodextrins and their inclusion complexes has been studied. The solid-state phase transitions associated with the respective dehydration process were investigated to. The applications of thermal analyses concerning water and drug/cyclodextrin interaction are also discussed.
