Extraction method influence on properties of aqueous extracts from mucous raw material. There were made aqueous extracts from mucous raw material (Flax seeds, Marshmallow root, Colfsfoot leaf, Fenugreek seeds) applying both traditional methods, recommended by Polish Pharmacopeia VI, and microwave radiation. Their features were compared by determining both viscosity and buffering ability of hydrochloric acid. It has been stated that extraction by means of microwave enables the reception of aqueous extracts from mucous raw material within much shorter time.
