Evaluation of rheological properties and pharmaceutical availability of ointments containing ketoprofene. Ointment form is rarely used for ketoprofene in topical treatment. Hydrophilic ointment bases were prepared and through composition modifications aimed to achieve compromise between physical and chemical properties (which measured using rheological examinations) and ability of releasing active substance (measured by in vitro static method).
