Use of gas chromatography in pharmaceutical analysis. In the paper the theoretical foundation for the gas chromatography analysis was discussed. The following issues were presented: construction and application of various types of injectors and detectors, and selection principles for applying the appropriate columns and operation parameters for the chromatograph. Also, the paper describes basic methods of preparation of samples for gas chromatography analysis, as well as examples of applications used in pharmaceutical analysis.
