Tissue engineering in medicine. Tissue engineering is a new medical technology, which uses biological and engineering bases in investigations over a cell and tissue, for obtaining functional substitutes of damaged tissues. This interdisciplinary science has to serve to repair and to restore all parts of the body. The first successes in this field was done reached on skin, with tissue osseous and articular gristle. Existing premises in the near future, we will receive, thanks to this technology new organs such as heart, kidneys or liver, and patients equipment for new organs and tissues formed thanks to the tissue of engineering which can overcame with therapy in the near future.
