Alergiczne kontaktowe zapalenie skóry a substancje pomocnicze zawarte w lekach

Alergiczne kontaktowe zapalenie skóry jest częstym schorzeniem spowodowanym przez składniki leków i kosmetyków. Alergenami mogą być konserwanty (formaldehyd, kwas sorbowy, parabeny), naturalne lub syntetyczne składniki leków, a także barwniki spożywcze. Wiedza dotycząca potencjalnych alergenów zawartych w lekach jest niezbędna do zmniejszenia epizodów alergicznego kontaktowego zapalenia skóry. Nierozpoznane lub źle zdiagnozowane może pogorszyć jakość życia pacjenta.

Allergic contact dermatitis in the aspect excipients in medications

Allergic contact dermatitis is a common disease frequently caused by drugs and cosmetics ingredients. Allergens can be preservatives (formaldehyde, sorbic acid, parabens), natural or synthetic drug components and also food dyes. The knowledge about potential allergens contained in drugs is essential in order to reduce the incidents allergic contact dermatitis. Undiagnosed or wrong diagnosed may deteriorating patient’s quality of life.
