Zachowania studentów jako konsumentów produktów leczniczych

Wstęp: Produkty lecznicze kupowane są przez klientów niezależnie od sytuacji finansowej, a często także ceny produktu. Dla większości nabywców są dobrem tak ważnym, że ich zakup staje się priorytetem w domowym budżecie.

Cel pracy: Celem badania było zaprezentowanie zachowań studentów jako nabywców produktów leczniczych.

Wyniki: Wyniki badań wskazują, że największa liczba studentów dokonuje zakupów leków co miesiąc. W aptekach studenci kupują głównie leki na receptę, rzadziej leki bez recepty, witaminy czy suplementy diety. Najczęściej kupowaną grupą produktów leczniczych są leki na przeziębienie i grypę (32%) oraz wspomagające pamięć i koncentrację (25%). Dla prawie połowy studentów głównym determinantem wyboru leku jest cena. Dokonując wyboru miejsca zakupu leków, studenci kierują się głównie fachową obsługą. Głównymi źródłami informacji o lekach dla studentów są reklamy telewizyjne oraz informacje zawarte w czasopismach.

Wnioski: Współcześni pacjenci są bardzo świadomi swojego zdrowia, jego uwarunkowań i zagrożeń. Lekarz w coraz większym stopniu przestaje być autorytetem w decyzjach dotyczących zakupu leków. Z uwagi na powyższe, w najbliższych latach prognozowany jest znaczący wzrost sprzedaży leków OTC oraz suplementów diety.

Behaviors of student as medicinal products consumers

Background: Medicinal products are purchased by customers regardless of the financial situation, and often the price of the product. Furthemore, for most of them drugs are so important that their purchase has become a priority in the household budget.

Aim: The aim of this study was to present the behavior of students as medicinal products customers. Results: The results of the study show that the largest number of students make drugs purchases every month. In the pharmacies students buy prescription drugs and nonprescription drugs most often, less frequently vitamins and dietary supplements. A group of top-selling medicines are medicines for colds and flu (32%) and for memory and concentration (25%). For almost half of the students a major determinant of drug’s choice is the price. Professional service is the most important for students when choosing a place to purchase drugs. The main sources of information about medicines for students are television commercials and the information contained in the journals.

Conclusions: Nowadays, patients are aware of their health status and its determinants.The doctors increasingly ceases to be an authority on decisions regarding the medicines purchase. Taking into account above mentioned situation, a significant increase in OTC drugs and dietary supplements sale is predicted in the coming years.
