Ordinary extraordinary people – a short recollection of Janina Szopinska, MSc(Pharm.)

The day of 9 February 2019 was the day of farewell to the pharmacist, Ms. Janina Szopinska, who passed away on 30 January 2019. She graduated from the Medical Academy in Poznan. During the funeral ceremony a eulogy was delivered by Jan Szopinski, MD, PhD, her son. Until that day most people, except members of the family, were unaware about the amazing circumstances of her life. It is impoartant that the memories of this great person are not lost, in order to preserve the memory of heroism of a people from a time when every single day of life was an extraordinary gift.
